The Little Turtle

   Once upon a time, there was a little turtle who lived in a pond. He was a very happy turtle, and he loved to swim and play in the water. One day, the little turtle was swimming in the pond when he saw a big fish. The fish was swimming very fast, and the little turtle was scared. He didn't know what to do.

  Just then, a big bird flew down from the sky. The bird saw the little turtle and the big fish, and he knew that the little turtle was in danger. The bird swooped down and picked up the little turtle in his beak. He flew the little turtle away to safety.

  The little turtle was so grateful to the bird. He thanked the bird for saving his life. The bird smiled and said, "You're welcome. I'm just glad I could help."

  The little turtle and the bird became friends. They would often swim and play together in the pond. The little turtle was so happy to have a friend to protect him.
