The Lost Puppy

  Once upon a time, there was a little puppy named Lucky. He lived with his family in a small house in the countryside. Lucky was a very playful puppy, and he loved to run and chase sticks.

  One day, Lucky was playing in the backyard when he saw a squirrel run across the yard. Lucky chased after the squirrel, and he didn't stop running until he was all the way down the street.

  Lucky was lost. He didn't know how to get back home. He wandered around the streets for hours, trying to find his way back.

  Just when Lucky was about to give up hope, he saw a little girl sitting on a bench. The little girl saw Lucky and smiled. She walked over to him and said, "Hi, little puppy. What's your name?"

  Lucky wagged his tail. He was so happy to see another person. He barked and licked the little girl's face.

  The little girl laughed. "Well, Lucky, it looks like you're lost. I'll help you find your way home."

  The little girl took Lucky by the collar and led him back to his house. Lucky's family was so happy to see him. They hugged him and kissed him.

   Lucky was so happy to be home. He learned his lesson that day. He never chased after squirrels again.
