The Strange Library

 The Strange Library

Once upon a time, in a small Japanese town, there lived a young boy named Toru Okada. Toru was a curious and intelligent boy, and he loved to read more than anything. He often went to the local library, where he would spend hours exploring the shelves.

One day, Toru went to the library as usual. He was looking for a book on Greek mythology, but he couldn't find it. He asked the librarian for help, but she couldn't find it either. "That's strange," said the librarian. "I'm sure we had that book in stock." She went to look for the library's catalog, but she couldn't find the book there either. "I don't know what's going on," she said. "The book may have been checked out." Toru was disappointed. He really wanted to read that book. He decided to come back later, in the hope that the book would be returned.

The next day, Toru returned to the library. He asked the librarian again if the book on Greek mythology was back. "No," she said. "It's not here yet." Toru started to find this strange. He was sure that the book was there the day before. He decided to look for the book himself. He went to the Greek mythology section, but he couldn't find the book. He searched all the other sections of the library, but he couldn't find the book anywhere. Toru started to feel worried. He had the feeling that the book had disappeared. He decided to ask the librarian if she knew anything else about the book. "Yes," she said. "I know that this book is a little special." "What's so special about it?" asked Toru. "It's said that this book is magical," said the librarian. "It's said that it can take you to another world." Toru was surprised. He had never heard of magical books before. "What do you mean, another world?" he asked. "I don't know exactly," said the librarian. "But it's said that it's a world where anything is possible." Toru was intrigued. He wanted to know if the legend was true. He decided to take the book, even though he couldn't find it on the catalog.

He walked out of the library with the book under his arm. He headed home, eager to read the book and see if it was really magical. Toru went to his room and settled in comfortably. He opened the book and began to read. The book was filled with wonderful stories about Greek mythology. Toru was captivated by the stories. He read without stopping. Suddenly, Toru felt something strange. He felt like he was moving. He closed his eyes and concentrated. When he opened his eyes, he found himself in a strange place. He was surrounded by snow-capped mountains and dense forests. Toru was amazed. He had really managed to enter another world. He began to explore the world. He met wonderful creatures, like centaurs, nymphs, and cyclopes. He had incredible adventures. Toru spent years in the magical world. He learned a lot about himself and about the world. One day, Toru felt that it was time to go home. He said goodbye to his friends and returned to his own world. When he arrived home, he was a different man. He was wiser and more experienced. Toru told his story to the librarian. She was impressed by his adventure. "I'm glad you were able to come home," she said. "I knew you were a special boy." Toru was happy to be back home. He was grateful for the experience he had had. He kept the magical book and read it over and over again. He always remembered his time in the magical world.
